Awwww shucks, Tom and Mary. Thanks for that. And while I'm at it, I need to thank Mike and Linda for the amazing food and "hippy-dippy" (as coined by ella gant) backyard to enjoy it in. (a compliment, I assure you.)
Also, thanks to Sarah and Ted for bringin' that beeeuuutiful chocolatey-creamy-sugary sensation to enjoy afterward.
And to all six of you (Tom, Mary, Mike, Linda, Sarah, & Ted) for the sweeeeeet Pearl Izumi bibs! Can't wait to show them off. How generous of you all. A complete surprise.
Y'all were way generous and made my b-day one of the best I have on record.
And what a fun ride - even with that nasty headwind around Hutchins Lake. I had some great conversations and just enough challenge to keep me going...
Thanks again everyone. I can tell already that JDRF was the right thing for me to get into this year.
