It was a fantastic day and we had a fantastic turnout as this photo shows. That's not even everybody. Several folks arrived after the picture was taken. In all there were 23 riders on Sunday. Without a doubt our best inaugural ride of the season ever. A hearty welcome to all the new riders who showed up. We currently have 40 people scheduled for Death Valley, 20 riding in Asheville and a few in Whitefish. Although more people are joining us everyday, so those numbers could be too low already. Next team ride is in two weeks at Johnson Park. See you there.

Wish I could have participated! Our children are away with the in-laws on spring break, so we were on our way back from a nice weekend in the North country. Glad to hear you all survived the wind!
What a fine looking group of riders! Sorry I didn't make the trek across the big lake to hang with you all. Sadly, a consideration of gas at $4.00 a gallon here made me think twice about coming over for the day...but I will save my pennies and do it plenty this summer, promise. :) 26 miles on Cook County's North Branch trail kept me busy this weekend...any Chicago-area team members want to join me next time?
And alas, Steve & Katie were in Orlando... lounging by the pool. Wish we could have been there to be part of the largest kick-off ride.
Oh, spare me your false laments! You're probably even tan!

I heard you had tan lines, too.
You guys need some privacy?
Damn well better be warm enough to show off tans and their associated lines on Sunday. I'm done with this bundling up/filling the laundry thing.

All this talk of showing tan lines sounds like Vegas talk.
